Before starting, take a moment to review your kit instructions. This ensures your hair sample is collected correctly and can be processed smoothly.

Collecting Your Hair

• Gently collect small hair samples from the back of the head, close to the scalp.

• Take hair from 5–6 different areas to get a representative sample.

• Keep only 1 inch (2.5 cm) of hair from the scalp; discard the rest.

• Use the scale provided: place the hair on the scale as you collect. Continue adding hair until the scale tips — this usually corresponds to roughly 0.25 g, or about a heaped tablespoon of hair. This visual helps ensure you have collected enough for testing.

Packaging and Acceptance Criteria

Regenerus Laboratories reserves the right to dispose of any specimens received that do not meet required collection or packaging criteria. In these cases, repeat collection may be necessary.
