My DHL parcel is being held in customs. What can I do?
If your DHL parcel has been held at customs, please don’t worry — our team is here to help get things moving again as quickly as possible.
We recommend calling our Client Services team on 0203 750 0870 at your earliest convenience. When you call, please have your waybill number and PRG number ready, as we’ll need to take a few details from you.
Once we have this information, we will contact DHL on your behalf to understand the reason for the hold and work with them to resolve it as quickly as possible. We’ll also keep you fully updated throughout the process.
In some cases, delays at customs can happen if:
- The shipping label has been placed incorrectly
- The incorrect DHL shipping bag has been used
- The sample has not been packaged in a box
