What bags should I use when collecting my stool sample?

Stool Collection Instructions (GI360, CP+P and GI360 Essentials)

Your doctor will tell you whether your test requires stool collection over 1, 2, or 3 days. Please make sure you confirm this before you begin collecting your samples.

If your test requires multiple samples, they must be collected on separate days. These do not need to be consecutive days, but it is preferred where possible.

For a 3-day collection

• Day 1: Use Bag A
• Day 2: Use Bag B
• Day 3: Use Bag C

For a 2-day collection

• Day 1: Use Bag B
• Day 2: Use Bag C
• Discard Bag A

For a 1-day collection

• Use Bag C only
• Discard Bags A and B
